The "Unofficial" Chris Walsh Fan Club

I spent the weekend with some friends on the Canadian border, thinking ESPN was carrying the game. They weren't. The local bar didn't find the game on the old-school dish until midway through the second quarter. It was mildly entertaining watching Joe Schmidt get ready during commercials.

I did see Walsh make a nice catch for a first down, and for once he was able to run after the catch instead of getting pounded right away. Walsh did miss on a pass that was way out of his reach later in the game.

During a commercial break the camera was on the special teams coach as the Vikings were preparing for a punt return. Walsh was standing next to him barking out orders to the guys on the field. He certainly carries himself as a coach.
